Thanks for your pics. I think I'll buy this camera but I'm a jpeg shooter so can you post some jpg shots straight OOC? I don't like PP so I would like to see how the jpegs look OOC as I read thet this has a great jpg engine. Is it possible to tweek the settins in camera?

I've been to Taipei today, asked all the shops in Boai, Hankou str., Nova & Mitsukoshi but they all replied that X-E1 currently out of stock, so unlucky

Well hopefully they will get some in before you leave the country.

If you go here: Yahoo! and type "x-e1" in the search field, look at the return hits and see which ones are stores. Most list their address and phone number, give them a call (or have help) and you should be able to track one down.

A bit of old meets new. Just picked up a pair of Wharefdale W30s. After I return from vacation will test them out and do any repairs, then pick up a tube amp to plug them into. Other photos are my living room system, a Denon and some Jamos. It is amazing that I can control my stereo and DVD player from a iPad or iPhone. I still remember listening to my dads open reel tapes when I was in high school! Times change.

Some from tonight. Dining pictures are from La Caja De Musica, Taipei. They had a guest chef in today who was highlighting northern Spanish food, wine and olive oil. Plus a quick concert by the two owners never hurts either

Shot RAW, 35mm lens, ISO set to max 6400. Ingested and spit back out via LR.
